Positive: What an absolute gem of a retreat! This place is the perfect escape from the buzz of the main tourist spots — peaceful, restorative, and surrounded by natural beauty. Claudia and Rudi are beyond welcoming; they truly care about their guests and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. They’re full of great tips and local insights about walks, getting around, and discovering the best of the Sacred Valley. I arrived feeling under the weather and honestly couldn’t have picked a better place to rest and recover. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and my room — with an entire wall of windows letting in soft, natural light — felt so healing and serene. Urubamba is just 10 minutes away by colectivo or tuk-tuk, and getting around the valley with the colectivos is super easy and efficient. There’s a reason this place has such a high rating — it truly deserves every bit of it. I can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone looking for warmth, comfort, and genuine hospitality in a stunning setting.
